Megan Rachelle Sommer
Megan Rachelle Sommer, 6, of Vienna, daughter of Diane Rachel Boyster and David Sommer, passed away on August 22, 1998 at University of Missouri Medical Center in Columbia.

Megan is survived by her father; brother Dustin Boyster of Vienna; aunts Karen Woody of Vienna, Ginger Sausville of Vienna, Vicki Heidal of Dixon; cousins, Matthew Woody, Lance Heidal, Richard Heidal, Sommer Heidal, Nathan Sausville, and Zachary Sausville. Also surviving are maternal grandparents Johnnie and Kay Woody of Vienna; paternal grandparents George and Neoma Sommer of Dixon; maternal great-grandmother Virgie Terry of Vienna; and paternal great-grandparents W.T. and Thelma Warnal of Dixon.

Funeral services for Megan were held on Tuesday, August 25, 1998 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Vienna with Rev. Robert Hodson officiating. Interment followed in the Vienna Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Memorial cards are available at Kordes Funeral Home. All arrangements were under the direction of Kordes Funeral Home.

 Dominic Eugene Schraft 

(April 21, 1996 - October 5, 2015)
Lance Corporal Dominic Schraft, age 19, of Camp Pendleton, California, formerly of Vienna, died on Monday, October 5, 2015, at Camp Pendleton, California.

Born April 21, 1996, at Rolla, a son of Donald and Sabrina (Ditman) Schraft.

He was a member of the United States Marines, and was a 2014 graduate of the Maries R-1 Schools where he was on both the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Dominic enjoyed hunting, fishing, and martial arts.

Survivors include: His parents, Donald and Sabrina Schraft, Vienna; three brothers, Corporal Robert Schraft, Okinawa, Japan; Timothy and Danny Schraft both of Vienna; one sister, Teresa Schraft, Vienna; two nieces, Elizabeth and Abagail; Paternal Grandmother, Barbara Bailey, Vichy;and Maternal Grandmother, Flora Joyce Ditman, Berea, Kentucky.

Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m., Monday evening, October 19, 2015, in the Vienna Chapel of the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Homes, 406 South Main Street, Vienna, Missouri and 9 – 10 a.m., Tuesday morning, October 20, 2015, in the First Baptist Church, 1004 Highway 63 South, Vienna, Missouri, with a Funeral Service following at 10 a.m.

Interment with full military honors will be in the Little Flock Cemetery, near Vienna.
